Course Summary
In Business Presentation Skills in English (AMC009V) you learned basic presentation structures and how to deliver your message effectively.
This Advance Course focuses on Problem Solving Style Presentation to persuade your listeners with conviction.
In order to convince your listeners we need to talk to listeners’ “Intelligence”, “Emotion” and “Imagination”. You learn how to impress your listeners through various exercises and practices.
You can develop your presentation skills such as how to make your presentation structures depending upon your listeners, how to talk with visualization, how to do “elevator pitch” in order to attract your listeners’ attention, and how to make interactive presentation through dialogues with your listeners.

Course Outline
1. Objective of Presentation
- You reconfirm that it is essential to clarify the objective of your presentation in any situation. Also you practice to describe the objective and its goal specifically. At the same time you clarify the necessary elements for persuasive presentation.

2. Talk to “Intelligence”
- You need three steps to talk to your listeners’ “Intelligence”.
1)Let them know (To provide necessary information)
2)Let them understand (To make it easy to understand)
3)Let them convinced (To explain logically)
- You learn how to make these three steps happen through exercises.

3. Talk to “Emotions”
- You learn how to let your listeners feel “I want to ...”, “I need to ...” in order to talk to your listeners’ emotions through more effective presentation with passion.

4. Talk to “Imaginations”
- Once you are able to describe your idealistic styles in yourself, it becomes easy to accept that. Taking this concept into considerations, you learn some mechanism to let your listeners imagine their idealistic style by talking to your listeners’ “Imagination”.

5. Structures for each purpose and audience
- For effective presentation you need to figure out some mechanism how to make structures for each purpose and audience. You learn these mechanism and do presentation exercises using the format of Problem Solving Style Presentation. Also you learn how to use “Elevator Pitch” for attracting your listeners’ attention.

6. Delivery and Q&A
- It is essential to use visual aids effectively and talk loud enough and clearly so that your listeners can understand well enough. You confirm how to deal with these two aspects. At the same time you learn how to deal with Q&A, which is a very critical part of your presentation.

7. Interactive Presentation
- You learn through practice how to conduct your dialogue style, interactive communication with your listeners.
